Every year that you garden should be a learning process for the next year. When you plan out your next garden you can plan around any of the problems that you encountered the year before. Learning from both failures and successes will help you to achieve the best possible results from your garden year after year. Learning to maintain your garden is the best way to determine whether or not you want to attempt a more or less ambitious garden in future growing seasons.
